I haz Soil!

We went to get a trailer load of organic soil today, some straw mulch, and some frost mat. OMG we only travelled to a place 20 minutes from our place but it felt like we had taken a wrong turn and ended up in Melbourne...It was FREEZING!
The guy in his big tonka truck filled our trailer and we were on our merry way home to the warmth, and some shovelling! :(
I now have 3 lovely filled beds and also some filled buckets. The trailer was over full, but we still could have done with a little more soil, but its mostly for some foam boxes and another 2 buckets. So to compensate for this we will buy a couple of bags of soil and just give it a mix with the soil from the raised beds and redistribute it.
I also cleaned out the shed. It's warm and sheltered in there so I thought if I can access the table and a chair and sit in the sun and enjoy a cuppa while gardening, well then that's a bonus.
So tonight is a test as to whether or not the mongrel gutted one in the yard decides to dig, if she doesn't, well then she is a good girl as well as a good cat deterant, but if she digs, well I need some blood and bone dont I !

So here is todays pics. I think Hubs and I are glad all the hard heavy labour is over, besides a trellis frame I need to have built!
